Electronics Boutique Pty Limited, trading as EB Games Australia has issued a product recall for Preowned Xbox and Preowned PlayStation Consoles and Power Cords sold at EB Games Australia and via authorised EB Games marketplaces between 1 September 2024 and 30 October 2025.
Affected models:
Preowned Xbox and Preowned PlayStation consoles, their accompanying:
- power cord
- HDMI cable
- controller.
Why is the product being recalled?
Affected Preowned Xbox and Preowned PlayStation consoles may not have completed the required electrical testing before sale.
There is a risk of serious injury, death or property damage from electric shock or fire.
What should you do?
- Stop using affected consoles and power cords immediately.
