PErforM webinars and workshops

PErforM (Participative Ergonomics for Manual Tasks) is a simple manual task risk management program that encourages workers to get involved in making their jobs safer. The program is free and offered in two parts:

  • Part 1: an introduction to PErforM webinar (1 hour)
  • Part 2: PErforM online/in-person implementation workshop (3 hours)

Part 1: an introduction to PErforM webinar

In this session, you’ll be provided with an overview of the PErforM program, including a high level look at how workplaces can implement PErforM.

Part 2: PErforM online/in-person implementation workshop

These three hour PErforM workshops are free to attend (online or in-person) and have been designed to develop the skills of individuals who have attended the one hour ‘Introduction to PErforM’ webinar so they can:

  • facilitate a manual tasks risk assessment using the PErforM risk assessment tool
  • understand the resources required to implement the PErforM program and facilitate PErforM training
  • learn strategies on how to develop hazardous manual task controls
  • understand the importance of reviewing and evaluating the PErforM program.
