General construction induction information for RTOs

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) authorises registered training organisations (RTOs) to issue and replace general construction induction training cards (white cards). RTO’s must enter into an agreement with WHSQ before delivering the training in Queensland.

Step 1: Add scope to your registration

RTOs must have scope of registration to deliver CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.

Contact the Australian Skills Quality Authority to add to your scope of registration.

Step 2: Accept the terms and conditions

RTOs must comply with the Conditions of agreement for registered training organisations to issue general construction induction training cards.

Step 3: Application to enter into an agreement

To enter into an agreement, make application to Licensing and Advisory Services at WHSQLicensing@oir.qld.gov.au

The email application must include RTO:

  • legal name
  • registration number
  • contact person details including email address.
