Jo Kitney is a passionate health and safety professional who manages several work health and safety businesses and is committed to achieving better health and safety outcomes for her clients through systematic injury prevention.
She works directly with small, medium and large organisations across a variety of industries to research and develop services that reflect best practice work health and safety management. Jo provides services in the areas of health and safety reviews, audits, systems, risk management, incident investigations, due diligence training and injury management.
In her pursuit of improved work health and safety in Queensland, Jo has launched 365 WHS Systems, which guides businesses through how to set up their health and safety system within the existing business Microsoft 365 licence. The program includes access to documents, training and advice to clarify legislative obligations and responsibilities and assist businesses to develop an action plan.
Jo contributes to industry through her roles with the Australian Institute of Health and Safety including Chair of the OHS Certification Governance Committee, and as a member of the Manufacturing Industry Sector Standing Committee.
