Registered providers for serious personal injuries
Workers with a serious personal injury workers’ compensation claim are entitled to treatment, care and support for their injury.
Certain treatment, care and support must be provided by a registered provider, including:
- attendant care and support services that are personal assistance services or services to assist the worker to participate in the community
- home modifications
- workplace modifications
- services for coordinating the worker’s treatment, care and support.
The Workers' Compensation Regulator approves the lists of registered providers maintained by The National Injury Insurance Agency Queensland (NIISQ). The Workers' Compensation Regulator reserves the right to change or depart from the NIISQ's lists of registered providers.
