Transport Industry Safety and Supply Chain Network meeting

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is working with the transport industry and its supply chain to help cut the industry's serious injury rate.

The next Transport Industry Safety and Supply Chain Network meeting at the Port of Brisbane on 12 March will focus on innovation and technology. We will look at the latest technological advancements in computer vision technology using artificial intelligence to reduce fatigue and distraction events.

There will also be a review of a trial driver health program which highlights the importance of cardio-respiratory fitness for health and wellbeing. This program is exploring the impact of a high-intensity interval training program on the heart health of drivers.
