Injury prevention and management workshops for small business

The Queensland Government's Injury Prevention and Management program is stepping up its commitment to help small businesses boost productivity and reduce injuries and associated workers' compensation claims.

IPaM, a Workplace Health and Safety Queensland and WorkCover Queensland initiative, is offering free small business workshops this year. They are designed for workplaces with fewer than 20 workers, or those with limited or no safety systems in place.

The 2019 series of workshops will kick off to coincide with Small Business Week at the end of May. Those attending can put in for an on-site safety assessment and one-on-one consultation with an experienced small business advisor.
