Recall reminder: Plug-into-wall heater

In our March edition, the Electrical Safety Office recommended that all households discontinue using the pictured plug-into-wall heater – please take a moment to refresh yourself with the plug-in heater recall safety concerns as the weather cools down this winter.

Please continue to remind the community of the dangers of this heater and to always purchase electrical items displaying the regulatory compliance mark (RCM) and to exercise caution when buying electrical appliances online that may not meet Australian Safety standards.
