New sexual harassment guidance material released
Do you know how to meet your work health and safety (WHS) legal duties to prevent sexual harassment? Safe Work Australia has published four infographics to complement the sexual harassment guidance material released earlier this year.
WHS duties require persons conducting a business or undertaking (such as employers) to do everything they reasonably can to prevent sexual harassment from occurring at work, just like other risks to health and safety.
The infographics show businesses what sexual harassment is, raise awareness of WHS duties around sexual harassment, and provide practical steps on how to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace:
- What is workplace sexual harassment?
- The impacts of sexual harassment
- Workplace sexual harassment – Your WHS duties
- Steps to prevent workplace sexual harassment
