Workplace Health and Safety Queensland’s Healthy Work Design Forum in March will feature industry experts revealing the latest evidence-based management principles about emerging health and psychosocial hazards in the workplace.

Participants will hear about the importance of good work design, including case studies demonstrating the integration of health, safety and wellbeing, as well as an introduction to the new Queensland code of practice on Managing the risks of psychosocial hazards at work.

The event will:

  • encourage and reinforce proactive approaches to healthy work design
  • increase awareness of the new Managing the risks of psychosocial hazards at work code of practice, along with the new regulations.

The breakfast forum is part of the Work Well 365 series and will feature keynote speakers and an organisational case study presentation.

Professor Sharon Parker from Curtin University will speak on Designing work to generate healthy and productive work and Monash University’s Dr Elizabeth Pritchard will be addressing Shining the light on workplace health conditions.

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland’s own experts will break down what the new psychosocial hazards code of practice means for Queensland workplaces.
