Upcoming virtual transport safety network meeting

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland facilitates transport industry safety network meetings throughout the state. The meetings encourage stakeholders to work together to achieve better health and safety outcomes for the industry.

Expert presenters speak on a range of current and emerging issues impacting on the transport industry and its operations in this state. The next meeting will be held next week on Wednesday 3 March, with two expert presenters:

  • Dr Stan Rodski a Neuroscientist and head of research at Cernova, will talk about the worlds’ first neuro-metric behavioural indicator. Using a 2-minute assessment on any device to produce information which helps prevent workplace safety incidents before they occur.
  • Zoe Argeros from the Stroke Foundation will talk about the My Health for Life program. This health and wellbeing program is funded by the Queensland Government and is available to workplaces using a personalised approach to help people make positive lifestyle changes.
