QUT researchers seek worker views of health and safety

Queensland University of Technology researchers are still looking for Queensland workers to participate in a survey to better understand work safety at the grassroots level.

The survey topics include general health and safety motivations, as well as personal beliefs and attitudes about work. This will help identify differences and similarities across industry sectors, which will aid in developing tailored, industry-specific safety interventions.

There are no questions on specific breaches of work healt and safety laws, past or present incidents or unsafe practices. No identifying information will be collected.

Sharing the results

Employers, please get your workers involved in the 20-minute survey. Participants can contact the researchers for a copy of the results, as well as the revised assessment tool. The survey and more information is at http://survey.qut.edu.au/f/191568/43b8
