Bundaberg agriculture safety forum

Canegrowers will host a Bundaberg forum focused on improving agriculture industry safety in the Wide Bay Burnett Region on Thursday 24 October.

Canegrowers has partnered with Greensill Farming Company, Canegrowers Isis and Bundaberg Fruit and Vegetable Growers, with support from CQ University and the Bundaberg Council. The forum features presenters from Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, Ergon Energy, Safety Ambassador Shane Webcke and an opening address by Bundaberg Mayor Jack Dempsey.

Topics will include industry safety performance, compliance requirements, tailoring safety management systems for individual businesses, and overhead and underground powerline safety.

The forum is being held at the Multiplex Bundaberg from 9am to 1pm and is free to attend. You can register through the Bundaberg Regional Council.
