Workers’ Memorial Day – we look back and remember

Workers’ Memorial Day is a universal day of remembrance commemorating the lives of people lost to work-related injury or illness.

On Sunday 28 April 2024, the world paused to observe the importance of this day.

In 2023, 27 Queensland workers lost their lives due to workplace incidents. Let us all take a stand to do everything within our power to prevent the loss of another worker.

You can still be a part of this and share the importance of its messages with your workforce. Share the recording of the ceremony with your colleagues.

Together, we are united in our grief and in honouring our fallen.
