Statewide construction compliance campaign to start
Statewide construction compliance campaign kicks off from July to September
From July to September 2025, Workplace Health and Safety inspectors will be conducting a state-wide compliance campaign, focusing on use of plant within the construction industry.
During these audits there will be a focus on how powered and non-powered tools and equipment are managed on sites, especially in relation to the following high-risk hazards:
- guarding and maintenance of plant
- safe use of ladders and electrical equipment
- use of personal protective equipment
- whether workers are trained and supported by safe systems of work.
How you can prepare
