Are you interested in joining the Electrical Safety Education Committee?
Do you have practical experience in advancing safety awareness and education through training, engagement, or knowledge-sharing? Are you passionate about building a safer Queensland through education and learning?
We are seeking nominations for membership on the Electrical Safety Education Committee – an independent committee established under the Electrical Safety Act 2002 to provide advice and recommendations on the promotion of electrical safety in workplaces and in the broader community to Queensland’s Electrical Safety Board.
Nominations for membership are now open from 28 May for a three-year term on the Electrical Safety Education Committee from 17 November 2025.
We are looking for people who hold a range of practical skills and experience including those with promotion and marketing of electrical safety is highly desirable for this position due to the technical matters the Committee advises on.
We strongly encourage nominations from suitably qualified women and candidates from diverse communities, including Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
