Free safety support through IPaM: Your partner in construction safety
The Injury Prevention and Management (IPaM) program offers free support to Queensland construction businesses to strengthen their safety systems. This joint initiative between Workplace Health and Safety Queensland and WorkCover Queensland provides dedicated advisors who deliver tailored safety guidance specific to your worksite needs.
Sunshine Coast's Timit Building recently completed the IPaM program. The construction company successfully streamlined their safety processes, reduced workplace incidents, and enhanced worker morale by demonstrating their commitment to staff wellbeing.
"Thanks to IPaM’s assistance, we have seen significant improvements in our safety management systems. These improvements have not only streamlined our processes but have also created a safer working environment for our team," reports Timit Building management.
Any Queensland construction business with a WorkCover Queensland policy is eligible for this free program, regardless of company size. More than 3,000 businesses have participated, experiencing a 27 per cent reduction in claims and an 11 per cent drop in workers’ compensation premiums.
