Supporting safety in Queensland’s agricultural industry at Ekka Beef Week 2025

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is proud to sponsor the 2025 Ekka Beef Week. This sponsorship is one of many ways the Queensland Government is demonstrating its commitment to the agricultural, rural and farming communities across Queensland.

Tragically, serious injuries and fatalities occur on farms and rural settings each year and Ekka Beef Week provides a valuable opportunity for Workplace Health and Safety Queensland Inspectors and advisors to connect directly with producers, workers, industry leaders and the community about practical ways to embed safety in everyday farming practices.
