First network safety meetings for transport and manufacturing in 2024 – Working together to create healthier safer workplaces

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) is hosting its 10th annual safety meetings for the transport and manufacturing industries.

Chaired by industry representatives, the online quarterly forums kick start in March 2024, and are a great way to engage with industry professionals, talk about safety, exchange advice and information and share resources in a friendly and like-minded environment.

  • Interactive session on safe driving at work | Mark Butcher, Managing Director, Performance Driving Australia.

Manufacturing safety network meeting

Wednesday 20 March 2024

This session will focus on hazardous chemical compliance, welding fumes and BOC Gas health effects, and include information about safety fundamentals, as part of a discussion to be facilitated by WHSQ’s Industry Strategy and Culture Unit.

To get the most out of these forums, attendees are encouraged to ask questions and engage with presenters, to discuss challenges and opportunities, and ways in which WHS could be improved across industry.
