New video series on Rural plant Code of Practice

The Unpacking the Rural plant code of practice video series is now live.

The video series helps explain how the Rural plant Code of Practice can be applied on the ground to improve safety outcomes across Queensland’s agricultural sector.

This series was developed in response to feedback from the agricultural sector and features short educational videos and a roundtable discussion with key industry figures and Workplace Health and Safety Queensland representatives.

Filmed with local farmers in the Lockyer Valley, the videos explore priority topics identified during consultation on the Rural plant Code of Practice, including:

• using technology safely
• training and skills
• vehicle safety on farms
• in-field traffic management.
