Farm Safety Calendar winners announced
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland’s annual farm safety calendar competition winners have been announced after attracting a record-breaking 2,514 entries from over 140 primary schools across Queensland.
The competition that combines artistic fun with serious safety messages was open to all Queensland primary school children from prep to year 6 to deliver awareness around potential safety hazards on farms and rural communities.
The annual competition promotes important safety awareness on farms and rural settings, and winners are announced in October as part of Safe Work Month.
Around 40,000 copies of the 2026 calendar will be printed for statewide distribution.
Each month highlights a different safety theme, with 12 winning entries selected from Prep to Year 6 students across the Sunshine Coast, Darling Downs, Hervey Bay, Southwest Queensland, and North and Central Queensland regions.
The 12 winning entrants received a $250 gift card and $500 for their school.
The calendars are in high demand each year so don’t miss out. Go to the WorkSafe website to pre-order your copy.
