Get ready—compliance campaigns for Manufacturing and transport: mobile plant and fixed plant
From April 2025 to June 2025, Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) will be conducting two statewide proactive compliance campaigns in the Transport and Manufacturing industries. These two distinct campaigns will run concurrently.
The transport industry campaign will target mobile plant and traffic management, with a specific focus on the interaction between pedestrians and mobile plant at workplaces.
The manufacturing campaign will focus on fixed plant including elements associated with operation, maintenance (including lock out tag out where applicable), guarding, work procedures, supervision and training.
This campaign is part of WHSQ’s Compliance and Field Services Proactive Compliance Program 2024-2027 (PDF, 0.65 MB) Together, we can create safer construction workplaces across Queensland.
