New resource: farm safety trail for kids now available

The new farm safety trail resource is a fun, engaging and age-appropriate way to help young children in rural areas learn about safety on farms. The colourful A3 fold-out sheet includes stickers, a quad bike maze, colouring-in activities, and more.

It is a great fit for use in:

• primary schools
• community safety events
• field days and local shows
• at home activities.

Office of Industrial Relations (OIR) has partnered with Queensland Country Women's Association (QCWA) in development of the farm safety trail—with 300 copies to be handed-out at the upcoming QCWA State Conference in October this year.

Schools, community organisations and local councils can request copies for their own events or regions.
