2025 Farm safety calendar competition

It’s back!

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland proudly welcomes the return of its favourite creative competition with entries now open for the 2025 Farm safety calendar.

Children can help to make Queensland a safe place to live and work by entering their best colourful submissions to the calendar competition.

Since 2015, the farm safety calendar competition has been raising awareness among primary school students and their communities about common safety hazards on farms and in rural settings.

Farm life is an adventure filled with both wonder and risks, which is evident in the entries we receive annually.

This competition is about encouraging creative young minds to actively champion safety and ensuring everyone stays safe and sound, from the paddock to the playground.

Children can draw about ways to be safe around electricity, animals, tractors and machinery, quad bikes, and water, as well as health and wellbeing.

Checkout some of the cool safety messages in our 2024 calendar on the website.

The 12 winning entrants will have their artwork featured in the calendar and will receive a $250 gift card, with another $500 for their school. Entries close on Friday 21 June 2024.
