Get in quick - farm safety calendars in demand

The 2024 Farm safety calendar is flying off the shelves with more than 28,000 copies already distributed. If you’d like to grab one of the last few copies available, you’ll need to be quick.

The calendar features the work of primary school students who entered our annual farm safety calendar competition by illustrating safety themes common to rural properties. Each of the winners received $250, and another $500 for their school.

The 12 winning drawings serve as a year-round reminder of the need to work and play safely on the land, with the calendar sent out and displayed in 30,000 homes and workplaces across the state.

This year there were more than 1400 entries from across Queensland that were judged by representatives from Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, the Electrical Safety Office, the Department of Education, Future Farmers Network and the North Australian Pastoral Company. Check out the winning entries and order your free copy of the 2024 Farm safety calendar.
