Protect your electrical licence with Digital ID

Your personal information is valuable, and it deserves to be protected.

In an increasingly digital world, understanding who you share your information with is no longer optional - it is essential.

It is equally important to know your information is stored, used and safeguarded, and whether your privacy is being treated as a priority rather than an afterthought.

Using an accredited Digital ID provider means information is:

  • securely encrypted.
  • only shared with providers and services with your consent, unless required by law or to investigate instances of fraud.
  • not collected, profiled, used or sold for other purposes, such as direct marketing.
  • protected by strict security protocols set by the Australian Government.

The use of Digital ID to apply, renew or manage your licence is not mandatory. If you do not wish to create and use a Digital Identity ID to manage your licence online, please contact our team on 1300 632 993 (between 8:00am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday) to request a manual application form to apply, renew and manage your electrical licence.

A manual form is provided as an alternative to the use of a Digital Identity. The information outlined on the manual form will be entered into the system by our team.

Please allow further time when applying, renewing or managing your electrical licence using a manual form due to the administrative process of entering the details manual into the licensing system.

For those who want to use the new online licensing platform, you will be required to create a Digital ID so you can efficiently apply for and manage your electrical licence.
