ESO at Brisbane Home Show

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) and the ESO engaged directly with Queensland homeowners and renovators at the recent Brisbane Home Show.

This event provided a unique opportunity to directly reinforce asbestos and electrical safety messaging and advice to homeowners with inspectors demonstrating through an interactive switchboard display how to test your safety switch, how to check different brands of switches, and where to locate switches for different circuits. WHSQ’s asbestos display cabinet for attendees was on display for attendees to safely view samples of asbestos that may be found around the home, and how to safely prepare for home renovations.

ESO and WHSQ will return to the Brisbane Home Show from 11-13 September 2026.
