Speakers

Mark Visser

Mark Visser is a globally recognised expert in leadership, mindset and high performance, helping organisations thrive under pressure. For more than 16 years, he has worked with elite sporting teams, military units and global companies to strengthen resilience, emotional intelligence, decision-making and workplace culture.

His clients include Kelly Slater, the Australian SAS, US Navy SEALs, Olympic athletes and AFL premiership teams.

As the first person to surf the infamous 40–50ft waves at Peʻahi, Maui in complete darkness, Mark transformed an extraordinary achievement into practical lessons on fear, performance and leadership. His engaging, visually powerful keynotes equip audiences with actionable strategies to perform at their best when it matters most.

Dr Liz Crowe

Dr Liz Crowe is a social worker, researcher and wellbeing leader with decades of experience in paediatric critical care specialising in crisis, trauma, grief and bereavement.

Following her PhD exploring the risk and protective factors for staff wellbeing, she now serves as Director of Staff Wellbeing at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Liz also leads a consultancy focused on interpersonal skills, leadership and organisational systems, is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Queensland and has authored more than 30 publications in staff wellbeing.

Louise Robinson

Louise Robinson is Director, Workers’ Compensation Investigations and Prosecution Services at the Office of Industrial Relations (OIR). Since joining the Queensland Government more than 12 years ago, she has held a range of roles within OIR’s Workers’ Compensation Regulatory Services, including in policy, legislation development and dispute resolution.

In her current role, she oversees the investigation of fraud and other suspected offending under the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (the Act) and the prosecution of such offences on behalf of the Workers’ Compensation Regulator. Louise is driven by the desire to protect and improve the workers’ compensation scheme for the benefit of Queenslanders.

Jordan Landy

Jordan Landy is a branch manager and occupational therapist at APM WorkCare in Brisbane, with more than 15 years’ experience in occupational rehabilitation.

Jordan leads a team in Brisbane, applying evidence-based approaches to help injured workers regain function and return to work safely and sustainably. He is also a member of the executive council for the Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (ARPA) Queensland, where he advocates for excellence and the advancement of the occupational rehabilitation sector.

Jordan's expertise in injury recovery and team leadership fosters lasting positive changes and the creation of safe, efficient workplaces.

Sara Pazell

Dr Sara Pazell is a human factors specialist, Principal Work Design Strategist at ViVA health at work, and Founder of ViVID Design Labs.

She helps organisations design safer, healthier, and higher-performing work through integrated work design, human-centred systems thinking, and the practical application of emerging technologies. Sara has worked across mining, healthcare, construction, transport, utilities, manufacturing, government, education, and other industries.

She is co-editor of the forthcoming Good Work Design: Conceptualisation and Practice for Sustainable Futures (Taylor & Francis), co-host of the WhyWork podcast, and an educator, researcher, and industry advisor who is passionate about turning evidence into practical solutions that improve work, health, and organisational performance.

Darren Morton

Professor Darren Morton is an internationally recognised wellbeing expert and Certified Diplomate and Faculty member of the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and was the inaugural recipient of the society’s 'Change Maker' award.

Darren is the author of four books that have collectively sold more than 100,000 copies and has approximately 80 publications in scientific and medical journals. He has also developed wellbeing programs—such as The Lift Project—that have engaged tens of thousands of participants from more than 50 countries.

Darren has made numerous media appearances and presented to hundreds of corporate, educational, community and academic audiences around the world.
