Time to renew your WorkCover accident insurance policy

Your WorkCover accident insurance policy is due for renewal.
To stay covered and access savings, you need to declare your wages by 31 August 2026.
Key dates
- 31 August 2026 – declare your wages
- 16 September 2026 – pay in full to get 3% off*
- 30 September 2026 – payment due
*Declare wages by 31 August to receive discount.
What you need to do
To calculate your premium, tell us your:
- actual wages for the last financial year
- estimated wages for the year ahead.
You can do this in three quick steps in WorkCover Connect:
- Log in
Use your username and password. You can reset them online if needed. - Select ‘Declare your wages’
You’ll see this on the top left tile. - Enter your wages
Add your actual and estimated wages to submit your declaration.
Declare on time to pay less
If you declare by 31 August 2026, you can access:
- Interest-free monthly payments
- 3% discount if you pay in full by 16 September (for premiums over $200)*
- Apprentice discount when you declare apprentice wages*
*Declare wages by 31 August to receive discounts.
Your cover while you renew
You’re covered while you complete your renewal with your Interim Certificate of Insurance.
We sent you a copy of this certificate in May. It covers you from 1 July to 30 September.
To stay covered until 30 June 2027, you need to:
- declare your wages, and
- pay in full or set up a payment plan.
No longer employing workers?
You can cancel your policy in WorkCover Connect.
We’ll ask you to declare your final wages before you complete the cancellation.
