Peter Tullett
Born 20 October 1987
Died 11 April 2017
Age 29
Occupation: Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Peter was born in Redcliffe on October 20th 1987 and grew up in Shorncliffe with his mother Sue, father Bill and older sister Rebecca. He attended Sandgate primary school and joined the boy scouts where his love of the outdoors flourished. His hard-working nature was apparent from a young age when he started many 'businesses' with his friends such as lawn mowing, car washing and cleaning gutters – all at “very cheap rates with pensioner discounts”. Peter finished high school and went on to work at Repco Nundah where his love of cars developed. He also did work experience as an auto-electrician and worked at Superior Engineering before being offered a position as a mechanical maintenance fitter at Lincom. He later worked for a mining company in Millmerran and with PR Power as a state manager, before returning to Lincom. Peter developed a love of fishing, adventure and the outdoors at a young age which stayed with him into adulthood. He spent his holidays and weekends fishing, four-wheel driving and camping with his friends. He was happiest out on the water and frequently made trips to Fraser Island, Moreton Island and further afield trips to Stanage Bay and Cape York. He also went on adventures to overseas destinations like New Zealand, Japan, Canada and the USA. Peter was an adored son and brother, a loyal friend, a cherished partner, a beloved nephew and cousin, and a truly wonderful person who is deeply missed.
