WorkCover’s response for flood-affected policyholders

Many of our policyholders have been affected by severe flooding in south-eastern Queensland, and we understand that these are extraordinarily difficult times.
While the full impact is still being felt, we are taking some immediate steps for affected policyholders.
Flood-affected businesses should contact us in the first instance to discuss their arrangements. This may include:
- We can help employers to review their estimated wages for the current year and adjust them as appropriate. This may result in a reduction in premium or potentially a refund.
- Employers may also be able to access alternative and extended payment arrangements.
We hope these changes will assist Queensland businesses and offer some relief in the short-term.
