Public sector WHS network - September 2026

Join Workplace Health and Safety Queensland’s (WHSQ) free industry network. Our quarterly online meetings are sector-specific and designed to help strengthen your organisation’s work health and safety (WHS) capability and performance through practical learning and industry collaboration.

Why get involved?

  • Understand key risks – Learn more about WHS issues affecting your sector, including priority risks, persistent challenges/barriers and practical solutions.
  • Access practical resources – Source tools, guidance materials and information about upcoming events.
  • Stay ahead of change – Be among the first to hear about new WHS initiatives and legislative updates and what they mean for your organisation.
  • Connect and learn – Share insights and learn from industry peers facing similar challenges.
  • Have your say – Raise industry issues and let WHSQ know what topics you would like further information on.

Who should attend?

These networks are ideal for WHS decision makers, influencers and contributors such as managers, supervisors, people with WHS responsibilities, team and facility leaders, business owners, health and safety representatives (HSRs) and injury prevention coordinators.

When are the network meetings?

The mid-morning meetings are held quarterly.
