Small business safety management workshop - Wide Bay - 22 October
We're inviting small business owners and managers to attend a free two-hour workshop to help improve their work health and safety systems.
At the workshop you will learn about work health and safety, rehabilitation and return to work processes and management systems for your small business. Including:
- injury and incident prevention
- increased productivity and quality
- reduced business disruption
- improved worker morale
- being better prepared for injured workers’ return to work.
As part of the training, registered participants will also receive a free personalised site visit from an experienced Injury Prevention and Management advisor.
These workshops will provide an introduction to implementing effective work health and safety, rehabilitation and return-to-work processes for small businesses. They are suitable for small business owners, managers and supervisors or anyone with health and safety responsibilities in a small workplace wanting to improve their current health and safety processes.
These workshops are not suitable for work health and safety consultants, large organisations or businesses with well-developed safety management systems. If you are from a larger organisation and would like assistance with work health and safety, please email WorkplaceAssistance@oir.qld.gov.au to find out how we can help you.
