Building a mentally healthy workplace now and into the future - Brisbane - 9 April 2019

Our first business leaders breakfast in 2019 will help you to build a mentally healthy workplace with the future in mind.

Our keynote speaker

Dr Peta Miller will discuss the ‘near future’ work mega trends, recent changes in community attitudes and what these may mean for work and non-work related mental health. Peta’s presentation will focus on the impact of new technologies and work arrangements on work-related mental health. It will also explore practical issues such as the application of systematic and people-centred work design approaches to effectively manage work health and safety risk, increase productivity and support vulnerable workers.

Our case study speaker

Melissa Williams, Powerlink People and Culture General Manager, will discuss their culture roadmap project and the challenges and learnings they have had along the way.

The culture roadmap seeks to engage, empower and enable their people through initiatives such as introducing new organisational values, more effective leadership, improved safety and wellbeing and growing their employees through better performance and development.
