LeadingWell Queensland forum - Cairns
LeadingWell Queensland, a collaboration between Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, SuperFriend and WorkCover Queensland, is offering a free strategic leadership event focusing on mental health in the workplace. LeadingWell Queensland's purpose is to provide practical support to senior leadership in their efforts to build mentally healthy workplaces through strategic development, positive promotion and workplace culture.
For Cairns business leaders, this event is a great opportunity to connect with peers to learn how to set the standard and drive universal, system-wide workplace change, as well as support and enable worker strengths and capabilities.
This session will be led by Dr Nerida Joss, Insights Strategist at SuperFriend, who will run an interactive workshop reflecting on current work challenges in small to medium business, and how you can develop effective strategies to overcome them. Dr Joss will also share insights found in SuperFriend's 2017 Indicators of a Thriving Workplace Survey, which identifies 38 characteristics that make up a mentally healthy workplace in the domains of leadership, connectedness, polices and practices and capabilities and culture, to encourage you to reflect on the mental health and wellbeing of your own workplace.
