Knife sharpening webinar
For the last three years during visits to abattoirs and other meat processing workplaces across Queensland, we have objectively assessed sharpness of more than 374 knives, using a knife sharpness analyser, to gain a full understanding of how they are being sharpened. We also gathered information on their work health and safety systems to better understand how sharpness of knives can be systematically managed. These findings are of use for a broad range of workplaces where knives are used.
