Butchers work health and safety workshop - Brisbane

The Butchers work health and safety workshop, delivered in partnership with Safe Food Production Queensland, will equip managers and supervisors in the butchering industry with a greater understanding of working safely with sharp knives and provide an overview of the support offered by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) and Safe Food Production Queensland, to achieve safe systems of work.

This free half day workshop includes:

  • findings, observations and feedback from the recent WHSQ project on knife sharpening practices
  • a practical demonstration where attendees can test their knives under supervision with a knife sharpening analyser. Limited seats are available, be quick to register.
