One-on-one information session for new electrical contractors

Are you new to electrical contracting?

Have you recently received your electrical contractor licence for the first time?

The Electrical Safety Office provides free one-on-one electrical safety sessions for new electrical contractors.

An electrical safety inspector is available to guide you through everything you need to know about electrical safety, at a time and place convenient to you.

The electrical safety inspector can help explain how electrical safety is regulated in Queensland, the importance of risk management and awareness of electrical safety duties as well as introduce you to the electrical safety resources available.

Electrical safety inspectors are available to meet with you in a number of locations throughout Queensland.

Register your interest to meet with an electrical safety inspector.

Note: Generally the sessions are only open to those contractors who have received their licence for the first time in the last 12 months.  Other electrical contractors, including contractors who have received a new licence due to a change in their business structure, should instead consider registering for Electrical Contractor workshops.
