Asbestos Awareness Week 2019 – Apprentice Safety Session – Rockhampton
We’re inviting trade apprentices and their supervisors to attend a free two-hour safety session for practical guidance on how to work safely with asbestos.
Come along and hear from an inspector from Workplace Health and Safety Queensland’s Asbestos Unit, and Safety Advocates Julie and Don Sager who have experienced firsthand the devastating consequences of asbestos exposure.
Breakfast will be provided.

Julie and Don lost their son Adam from asbestos related disease when he was 25. Sadly, Adam was unknowingly being exposed to fibres during house renovations when he was 18 months old.
