People at Work workshops

You are invited to learn more about the factors that increase risks to your workers’ psychological health at the People at Work workshops. The workshops will cover work-related psychological injuries and physical disorders caused by prolonged exposure to work stressors.

This is a two-part introductory workshop.

Part one will help you understand the importance of good mental health at work and its impact on productivity. It will also cover:

  • workplace stressors
  • the identification of psychosocial hazards
  • management of psychosocial risks
  • leveraging existing safety management systems to address psychosocial as well as physical hazards

We will demonstrate how your organisation can use the People at Work risk assessment process, which has been specifically designed to assist employers identify and manage psychosocial hazards in the workplace.

Participants will be invited to participate in part two of the workshop, to be held later in the year. This workshop will explore survey results, share ideas and hear what other organisations are doing to address hazards. It will determine how to best tackle the psychosocial hazards identified following administration of the assessment in your organisation.
