How do I register to attend a Safe Work Month event?
To register to attend a Safe Work Month event, visit the Safe Work Month event page, select the event you want to attend and follow the prompts to the registration form.
How do I register a group to attend an event?
Group bookings are accepted for most events. Visit the Safe Work Month event page, select the event you want to attend and follow the prompts to the registration form. Complete all details on the registration form and then select 'next registrant'. Complete all details and either register further delegates or finalise your registration. A single invoice will be issued for the group booking.
How do I pay to attend an event?
Payment is required when you register for certain Safe Work Month events. Payment can be made online via credit card. Cheque, BPAY and credit card payment over the phone are also available. Payment is required within seven (7) days of registration.
How do I know that my registration has been successful?
A thank you page will appear once you have successfully completed the event registration form and clicked the register/submit button. We'll also email you a tax invoice. Once your payment has been confirmed, you will receive a booking confirmation email. As the email is generated from a database, you may need to check your junk or spam mailboxes.
I haven't received my confirmation email and/or tax invoice?
The tax invoice will be emailed to the ‘host’ registrant. Once paid, we'll send you a booking confirmation email.
If you haven't received your tax invoice or booking confirmation (upon payment):
- check that our email has not been blocked by your spam filters
- check that our email has not automatically been moved to your email account spam/junk or clutter folder
- ensure you are able to receive email messages from firstname.lastname@example.org.

I paid for my event and require a tax invoice/receipt for my records?
The online payment service provides a tax invoice and/or receipt for your records. You will receive an email with your tax invoice/receipt during the registration process.
If you need a copy of your tax invoice/receipt to be reissued, phone 1300 362 128 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, providing details of your event registration (i.e. invoice number, name of the event, your name and company/organisation name etc).
How can I cancel my event registration?
To cancel your event registration, phone 1300 362 128 or email email@example.com, providing details of your event registration (i.e. invoice number, name of the event, your name and company/organisation name etc).
Refer to our refund policy in our terms and conditions for events requiring payment.
Am I entitled to a refund if I paid to attend an event and now want to cancel?
Refunds will not be issued if you cancel less than seven days prior to the event.
If a cancellation and refund request is received more than seven days prior to the event, a refund for the registration amount only will be made in the same form that the original payment and to the original account that made the payment. Credit or bank fees separately billed by your banking institution will not be refunded.
If you are unable to attend an event you have registered for, you can transfer your registration to a substitute delegate. You should notify us of the change by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org at least seven days before the event.
All requests for cancellation and/or refunds should be directed to email@example.com.

How do I submit an event for the community and industry events calendar?
Simply complete the online 'Register your event' form, following the steps outlined below, and tell us about your work health and safety event or activity.
Register as an event organiser - tell us who you are, your organisation and industry, your contact details and your postal address.
Complete your event details - the name of the event, where and when it will be held, what type of event it is, whether there is an entry fee and who can attend. You can specify the target audience and whether it is open to the public.
If you are hosting multiple events, you can either:
- simply tell us how many events you're hosting across the state, and provide a general overview of all your events
- provide complete details for each event.
When will my event appear online?
A confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email account notifying you whether your event application was successful. Please check the website in the coming weeks to see if your event has been added to the calendar. We reserve the right to publish only events that may be of interest to our readers.
How long should my event description be?
We reserve the right to edit event descriptions for length. The event description should be no longer than 1100 characters (approximately 250 words). Anything over this limit will not be published.
How can I edit/cancel my event after it has been submitted?
You can update or cancel your event calendar submission by clicking on the 'Update your event' link in your confirmation email. Any changes will be reflected on our website within 24 hours of your request being received. Alternatively, email email@example.com quoting your event ID reference number as it appears in your confirmation email.
