This award recognises excellence in developing and implementing a solution to an identified work health and safety issue. This may include a product solution, design/engineering innovation, training program, awareness raising activity or other risk control measure that addresses a specific work health and safety issue, reducing the risk of work related injury and disease.

Category two - Best individual contribution to work health and safety

This award recognises individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to work health and safety. This may include developing and implementing a safety solution, system, product, program or other risk control measure that reduces the risk of work related injury and disease.

Category three - Best solution to an identified electrical issue

This award recognises excellence in developing and implementing a solution to an identified workplace electrical safety issue. This may include a product solution, design/engineering innovation, training program, awareness raising activity or other risk control measure that addresses a specific electrical safety issue, reducing the risk of work related injury and disease.

Category four - Most significant improvement to work health and safety performance

This award recognises an organisation that has made a significant demonstrated improvement to its work health and safety performance. This may include making changes that have improved risk management, safety systems, injury prevention and/or safety culture.

Category five - Best commitment to work health and wellbeing

This award recognises an organisation that embeds work health and wellbeing into organisational systems and culture to benefit the health of workers and prevent chronic disease risks in the workplace. Chronic disease risks include physical inactivity, sedentary work, unhealthy eating, harmful alcohol consumption, smoking and poor mental health.

This award recognises an individual's successful rehabilitation and stay at/return to work within the past 12 months following a work related injury.

This award recognises an employer’s outstanding efforts and continuous improvement of rehabilitation and return to work by implementing an effective injury management system.

This award recognises outstanding leadership in rehabilitation and return to work practices implemented by an individual or organisation.

This award recognises excellence in healthy and safe work design. Designing healthy and safe work is fundamental to improving health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace.
