Ventia Utility Services performs works on the electrical transmission and distribution networks within Queensland, servicing new construction, augmentation and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical network assets and infrastructure.

Ventia Utility Services' health and wellbeing program was developed through consultation between staff and management. The program motivates workers to want to make changes to their health and wellbeing and drive a cultural shift by improving the overall health and wellbeing in the organisation.

The services to employees include access to fresh fruit, the creation of a wellness library and first aid training. The program is easily accessible to all employees out in the field or in the office.

Ventia Utility Services has identified a significant positive cultural shift in employees' awareness of health issues and willingness to share experiences and discuss health and wellbeing issues with others. This program has helped the management team identify workers who may be suffering in silence and has given them the confidence and support to reach out to those staff.
