Ashley Pengana Paul Morris died on 6^th October, 2016 in a needless incident at the Eagle Farm Racecourse construction site. He left behind a young family who now struggle to cope without his loving care. The loss of a wonderful son and brother has also been hard. His funeral brought together many from far and wide. In proper Aboriginal way his funeral and other memorial events were accompanied by a smoking ceremony to guide his spirit on its way and to help heal the sorry hearts of those who loved him. The work site was also smoked to cleanse it of this tragedy.
