North Queensland Injury Prevention and Return to Work Conference
Held at The Ville in Townsville on Friday 20 April 2018, the full day conference included speakers and information on injury prevention as well as rehabilitation and return to work.

Doctors breakfast seminar
A free breakfast seminar for doctors was held on Friday 20 April 2018 from 7:00 am.
The breakfast provided doctors with strategies to treat and manage patients with work related psychological injuries and improve their return to work outcomes.
Ian has over 20 years’ experience in engineering and mining and is a passionate safety leader and advocate for industry change regarding mental health awareness.
As a member of the G&S executive team, Ian is responsible for fostering great relationships with G&S’ clients and strategic partners so that these relationships inform the development and implementation of the G&S strategy.
Ian was born and resides in Mackay with his wife and two sons, the eldest of which is a mechanical fitter working in the mining and port industry and the youngest is still in school.
