Allied health table of costs update 2019

WorkCover Queensland has reviewed and updated the Allied health table of costs for 2019. The changes take effect from 1 July 2019.

Here's a quick summary of the changes:

  • Introduction of telehealth services across all allied health specialty types. This is not a standalone item number however the guidelines around the provision of this service are now outlined in each individual table.
  • Reintroduction of the RTW Facilitation code (300164) to the Return to work table of costs.
  • Simplification of the Allied health table of costs general information document.

Fees for 2019 have increased in line with Brisbane Consumer Price Index (CPI) – March quarter which is 1.5% however the fees for Travel – Treatment (300092) and Travel – RTW (300091) on tables where these item numbers are applicable have remained unchanged.

You can access the updated tables on our 2019 allied health fees page. These tables reflect the maximum fees payable. Please update your systems to reflect the new fees, as invoices may not be adjusted once payment is made.
