Return to work services panel tender agreements extended
WorkCover Queensland has extended the tender agreement for its return to work services panel for a further two years.
The panel of 37 providers was appointed in February 2015 for a three-year term, with the option of a two-year extension at WorkCover’s discretion. Tender agreements with existing panel providers will now be extended until February 2020.
The decision to extend the tender agreement of the panel was made following an analysis of results achieved, which showed that return to work results have improved, whilst costs and durations have remained stable.
Referrals largely met Service Level Standards with regard to service delivery and invoicing.
Workers are now able to rate their experience with a provider, using our Worker Assist app and the feedback has been good.
Overall, the results are good but we continue to work with providers in providing and receiving feedback to improve outcomes.
Panel providers and associations have been advised of the extension and are required to confirm their acceptance and update key contract details.
