Streamlined safety and compensation service for Queenslanders

On 3 November, WorkCover Queensland and the Office of Fair and Safe Work Queensland will launch a new one-stop shop website and call centre for all your work safety and workers compensation services and information.

The new website,, will unite the websites of WorkCover Queensland, Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, Electrical Safety Office and the Workers' Compensation Regulator.

A dedicated phone number of 1300 362 128 will also replace the separate numbers for each of these organisations.

At the same time, we will streamline our online services starting with a joint claim and incident service. For customers, the benefit of this form means they will no longer need to supply the same workplace incident information to us and Workplace Health and Safety Queensland. For our employer customers, they can lodge the form direct from WorkCover's employer online service. This will save even more time and allow tracking of incidents and claims from one handy place. 

Importantly, each organisation in the scheme will retain its current role in providing Queensland employers and workers with one of the best performing workers' compensation schemes in the country and full access to our expert advice.

It's 'Queensland's safety and workers' compensation services' and it is all part of a Government-wide program aimed at making services simpler, clearer and faster to use.
