Queensland workers' compensation scheme

The Queensland workers'  compensation scheme encourages early intervention for injured workers who have  had a work related injury or illness. Returning to work after a workplace  injury or illness can be achieved by sustainable workplace rehabilitation until  the injured worker is able to return to their pre-injury role.

Overview

The  Queensland workers' compensation scheme functions and activities are directed  by the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 and the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Regulation 2014.
