Application or renewal process

Apply for appointment

The steps to apply for appointment as an accredited auditor are:

  1. Complete your application form (PDF, 217.16 KB) .
  2. Lodge your form with the required documentation and relevant fee.
  3. We will assess your application.
  4. You will be registered as an accredited auditor if your application is successful.

Note: application processing takes a minimum of 8 weeks.

If your application is withdrawn or not approved then any refundable amount of the fee paid is shown in schedule 7 of the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013 (the ES Regulation).

Renewal of existing appointment

The steps for renewing an existing appointment as an accredited auditor are:

  1. Completed your application form (PDF, 217.16 KB) .
  2. Lodge your form with the relevant fee.
  3. We will assess your application.
  4. Your appointment will be renewed if your renewal is successful.
